FAQ

Can it read my drive or disc directly?
Not in this version. IsoHappy opens image files, so make an image of the disc, card or drive first and open that. Here’s how.
What's free?
Opening, browsing and previewing images, copying files from standard CD and DVD images, saving CD audio, and checksums. Pro adds deleted and recovered files, every other format, and DFXML and CSV reports. See pricing.
Does it change my image?
No. IsoHappy only reads your image. Files you copy out are saved to a folder you choose.
What if it can't open my image?
Email support@isohappy.app with a sample image, or a description of it if you can’t share it. We’ll look at it.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If something isn’t working within 14 days of buying, email support@isohappy.app and we’ll fix it or refund you. If you bought through the Mac App Store, Apple handles refunds.
Which image files does it open?
ISO, BIN/CUE, DMG (including compressed DMGs) and raw images such as .dd and .img. Inside them it reads ISO 9660, Joliet, Rock Ridge, UDF, FAT12/16/32, exFAT, NTFS, HFS, HFS+, APFS (existing files only), ext2/3/4 and basic XFS. Virtual machine disk files are not supported.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Your images and files stay on your Mac. The app doesn’t send them anywhere.
